UACJ (Thailand) Receives Top Platinum Level Certification under GSEE Standard
—High Ratings for Sustainability Activities, such as Reduction in Water Consumption and Use of Solar Power Generation—

UACJ (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (headquarters, Rayong Province, Thailand; representative Director & President: Kimitoshi Inagaki; hereinafter “UATH”), a consolidated subsidiary of UACJ Corporation, has received the top Platinum Level rating under the Global Sustainable Energy and Environment (GSEE) standard, based on an assessment by Thailand’s Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA).
The PEA uses the GSEE standard to assess the sustainability of energy and environmental management and promote these activities. The standard includes seven key performance indicators that are aligned with the 17 Sustainability Development Goals, such as criteria related to the use of renewable energy.
UATH has been certified at the highest level, Platinum, with a score of 4.55 out of 5, for its sustainability efforts, including initiatives to reduce water usage and its introduction of a solar power generation system. Among the 16 companies that applied for the PEA’s GSEE certification, only three, including UATH, received the Platinum level certification. The certification is valid from August 23, 2023, to August 22, 2025. We will strive to uphold this certification and contribute to the realization of the UACJ Group's corporate philosophy of "realizing a sustainable and prosperous society" by promoting further sustainability activities.
