Ruyuan Dongyangguang UACJ Fine Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of UACJ Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President: Miyuki Ishihara), hereby provides notice of its intention to strengthen its production capacity in order to increase production of capacitor foil and automotive heat exchanger materials.
In China, the market for aluminum electrolytic capacitors is expected to grow in line with expansion in the markets for machine tools and automotive applications, networks, medical instruments and power tools.
Demand for automotive aluminum heat exchanger materials is also slated to expand, owing to increased unit production of automobiles in China.
In response to future growth in global demand, the Company has decided to reinforce its production capacity in China. Through this capacity increase, UACJ will build a structure to provide a stable supply of high-quality capacitor foil and automotive heat exchanger materials, and work with Guangdong Hec Technology Holding Co., Ltd., to further expand this business in China.
