U-Al Lab. offers a variety of ongoing exhibits so that everyone can come to know aluminum technology. At the History & Future Museum , visitors reflect on aluminum’s history while expanding their vision for co-creation. Meanwhile, at the Innovation Room, by experiencing UACJ technology firsthand, we help to make concrete the challenges surrounding co-creation. Those interested are cordially invited to contact us.

A business model for co-creating new products with customers
UACJ develops products beyond the borders of its own operations by co-creating with customers and participating in national projects in Japan. Having built close relationships with customers, the Company's sales departments work in close collaboration with manufacturing and R&D departments to develop and supply products that meet customers' specific needs. To provide a place for employees and customers to explore new possibilities for aluminum, the Company set up its U-AI Laboratory in 2019 as a hands-on exhibition space inside its R&D Center. Furthermore, as part of its efforts to develop aluminum products with added value, UACJ pursues research on methods for recycling various aluminum products, and develops innovative aluminum materials in collaboration with universities and Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization.
