Notice Regarding Establishment of UACJ EUROPE GmbH in Germany

UACJ Corporation (headquarters: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; president: Shinji Tanaka) announced today that it will establish a new subsidiary named UACJ EUROPE GmbH to handle sales of flat rolled aluminum products and technical services in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. It will be established in Dusseldorf, Germany, effective from April 2025 for the purpose of bolstering the UACJ Group’s international position in these markets, which are expected to grow in the future.
The Group’s flat rolled products business supplies a wide range of products to many regions through a global supply network operating in three countries, specifically by UACJ Corporation in Japan, Tri-Arrows Aluminum Inc. in the United States, and UACJ (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in Thailand. In recent years, its volume of products supplied to Europe has been increasing due to rising demand for aluminum cans amid efforts to decarbonize, boosting the need for regionally based sales and technical services. In this context, the new subsidiary will be established to further extend the Group’s global reach and strengthen the foundation of this business.
At present, UACJ ELVAL HEAT EXCHANGER MATERIALS GmbH operates the UACJ Group’s automotive heat exchanger business in Germany. Targeting Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, UACJ EUROPE GmbH will be responsible for sales of aluminum can stock, air conditioner compressor fins, and other aluminum products along with the provision of technical services. Looking ahead, the new company will meet the needs of customers in those regions and carry out measures for expanding business as an international hub.
