(head office: Michigan, United States; President: Mike Wegener; CEO: David Cooper; “UWH”), received two awards—the Quality/Delivery Award and the Value Award—at the Fiscal 2024 Honda North America Supplier Awards. UWH was the only company to win awards in both categories.
UWH supplies aluminum front bumpers for Honda’s CR-V, which launched in 2022, helping to reduce environmental impact. In recognition of its zero quality defects, zero product delivery delays, and cost reduction initiatives, UWH received both awards for the second consecutive year.
These awards are presented annually by Honda Development & Manufacturing of America, LLC (head office: Ohio, United States; President: Kensuke Oe; “HDMA”) to top-performing suppliers across various categories. In fiscal 2024, 33 companies were selected from among approximately 700 suppliers to receive awards. UWH was the only company to be honored in both the Quality/Delivery and Value categories.
