For consideration of aluminum and aluminum alloy extruded shapes
Here we list the standards of the aluminum and aluminum alloy extruded shapes offered by UACJ, by product number. The listed information is extracted from JIS H4100:2006 (Japanese Standards Association).

Notes
- (1) Temper in accordance with JIS H 0001.
- (2) For elongation, the following two methods were applied with differing gauge lengths. In cases where the client does not provide specific instructions for elongation measurement, A50mm is used.
In cases where A50mm is not specified, A is used.
A: % of elongation in gauge length of(S0: Cross sectional area of flat portion)
A50mm: % of elongation in gauge length of 50mm
- (3) A material with O for temper is the base for materials with a temper T42 or T62 and in cases where the client requests it, a guarantee of the performance of these materials has to be given.
- (4) For the mechanical properties of a T42 temper, values are applied in line with a case in which the client has solution heat treated and then naturally age hardened a temper O material.
However, in a case where, before carrying out solution heat treatment, the client applies some kind of cold working or hot working process, values may be lower than shown.
- (5) For the mechanical properties of a T62 temper, values are applied in line with a case in which the client has solution heat treated and then artificially age hardened a temper O material.
However, in a case where, before carrying out solution heat treatment, the client applies some kind of cold working or hot working process, values may be lower than shown.
- (6) The mechanical properties of a T4 temper have been set using values for a case in which it has been solution heat treated and then naturally age hardened for one month at room temperature (approx. 20˚C) as a standard.
In cases where tension tests have been carried out before one month of natural age hardening, these tests are carried out using a test piece that has been solution heat treated and then artificially age hardened. This confirms that it meets the tensile properties of a T6 temper and this can replace the guarantee of tensile properties of a T4 temper.
- (7) Also applies to shapes that have been control-cooled after extrusion.
- (8) Only applies to solid materials.
