Opening Ceremony Held for Our Subsidiary for Manufacturing Aluminum Precision Casting Parts for Automotive Applications in Vietnam
March 23, 2007
On March 22, we held an opening ceremony for our wholly owned overseas subsidiary established in Vietnam, Furukawa-Sky Aluminum (Vietnam) Inc. (based in Ho Chi Minh City, Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, under President Yoshiro Togami) in its premises. About 150 guests and persons concerned from Vietnam and Japan attended the ceremony, including President and Chief Executive Officer Masateru Yoshihara of Furukawa-Sky.
Through full-fledged mass production in Vietnam, this main production base will expediently respond to the expanding demand for aluminum precision casting parts for automotive applications, which are expected to grow considerably in the future.
