Overview

Our Fukaya Works started commercial operations in 1967 as a factory specializing in flat rolled products.

Over the years of producing various kinds of aluminum products, such as thick plate, Body-in-White (BiW) panels, and litho sheets, the factory has grown to become Japan's leading mill and the most highly rated facility of its type worldwide, with advanced technologies and extremely high productivity.

By train or taxi
  • 10 minutes by taxi from Fukaya Station on the JR Takasaki Line
  • 10 minutes by taxi from Takekawa Station on the Chichibu Railway Line
  • 10 minutes by taxi from Kagohara Station on the JR Takasaki Line
By car
  • Take the Kan-Etsu Expressway to the Hanazono Interchange, heading toward Kumagaya and Fukaya. Then take the Route 140 bypass toward Fukaya. (The plant is located 8.2 kilometers from the Hanazono Interchange.)

The No. 4 cold rolling mill is a non-reversible six-high rolling mill (UC mill) that is capable of functioning at a maximum rolling speed of 1,800 m/min.
