Highly adhesive surface-treated aluminum sheets manufactured only by UACJ in the world

Features

  1. The high adhesion makes it possible to join the aluminum with plastic or other dissimilar materials.
  2. Almitas+ KO adheres extremely well to resins, adhesives, and coating films.
  3. The oxide film is thin, and the material has excellent thermal conductivity, heat resistance, and workability.

KO treatment is ...

... a process of forming a porous oxide film in a branch-like complex shape by AC electrolysis of an aluminum sheet in an alkaline electrolyte.
While an anodic oxide film is usually 2 to 10 µm thick, a KO-treated film is 200 to 250 nm.
(KO-treated film is very thin, with a thickness of 1/10 to 1/40 of an anodic oxide film.)
