- High-conductivity Materials for Aluminum Busbars
Replacing copper with aluminum drastically reduces weight and cost.
Features
- Aluminum busbars weigh and cost far less than copper busbars.
- The EC1 alloy exhibits the same high conductivity as pure 1050-O aluminum and 1.5 times its strength.
- EC2 has only 55% of the conductivity of copper (lower specification limit) but exhibits the same level of conductivity when it is 1.8 times thicker.
