November 22, 2016
ALUMINIUM is the world’s leading trade fair for the aluminum industry, and UACJ Corporation will participate in ALUMINIUM 2016, which is scheduled to take place from November 29 through December 1, in Dusseldorf, Germany.
This will be the eleventh ALUMINIUM trade fair, which is held once every two years. UACJ Corporation’s first participation in the fair, in 2010, also marked the first appearance of a Japanese manufacturer of rolled aluminum products. The previous fair, ALUMINIUM 2014, featured 907 exhibitors, including three companies from Japan, and attracted 21,300 visitors. ALUMINIUM 2016 will have approximately 1,000 exhibitors, including four companies (UACJ Corporation, plus three others) from Japan, and is expected to draw over 25,000 visitors from over 100 countries.
In its exhibit space, UACJ Corporation will highlight high-value-added products such as aluminum materials for automobile panels, demand for which is expected to grow on a global basis; automobile heat exchangers the company is marketing throughout the world; automobile compressor wheels, a product for which the company enjoys a high global market share; and 7000 series extruded materials for use in motorcycles. Video introductions of the UACJ Group’s products, global manufacturing sites, technical development capabilities, and business development activities in Europe will be provided on a large-screen display in the center of the exhibit space. Information on European business development activities will feature coverage of the sales expansion strategy of UACJ ELVAL HEAT EXCHANGER MATERIALS GmbH, which sells UACJ-brand automobile heat exchanger materials to customers in Europe, and an introduction to manufacturing activities at UACJ Extrusion Czech s.r.o., which produces and sells extruded aluminum products for automobile heat exchangers.
Through its participation in ALUMINIUM 2016, UACJ Corporation aims to achieve even greater global name recognition.
