Notice Concerning Flood Damage in Thailand

Severe rainfall since July has led to heavy flooding in Thailand, and our subsidiary there has suffered damage from these floods. The current state of damage is described below.
- 1. State of Damage
- Operations have been suspended at Furukawa-Sky Aluminum (Thailand) Co., Ltd., our subsidiary located in the Rojana Industrial Park in Thailand’s Ayutthaya Province, as the company’s grounds and structures are immersed due to flooding.
No employees have been hurt. - 2. Impact on Operating Performance
- At this stage, the cost of flood damage and the impact of this situation on operating performance are unclear.
In the event that the situation is ascertained as likely to significantly affect operating performance, such information will be provided promptly. - 3. Outlook
- We will continue to monitor the situation and do our utmost to ensure that our customers are not inconvenienced. Operational measures may include production at alternative locations to ensure that we fulfill our supply obligations.
