Aluminum Alloy Sheets for Railway Rolling StockFor interior and exterior use in Shinkansen (Bullet Train) and high-speed railcars
Aluminum alloy sheets are widely used for manufacturing Shinkansen (Bullet Train) and high-speed railcars to ensure high-speed performance with bodies that are both lightweight and high strength. We provide a wide range of aluminum alloy sheets for railway rolling stock, using the technologies cultivated for the aerospace and shipping industries.
Features
- We provide a wide range of thickness of 5083 alloy with high strength and good corrosion resistance in a range of 1 to 300 mm.
- Duralumin series alloys such as 7000 series and 2000 series aluminum alloys can also be manufactured, offering an excellent balance between wall thickness and strength.
- NC saws are used to cut irregularly shapes as needed, such as pentagons and hexagons.
- Developed alloys have both high strength and excellent press formability among non-heat-treatable aluminum alloys for use in decorative panels for railcars.
